On 1 March 2008 Jeroen, together with Evert van Ling and Henk van Embden,
was recruited to lead LCP in the Netherlands.
He qualified as an actuary in 2002 after graduating in 1998 from Erasmus University
with a degree in econometrics, and he had exactly 10 years of pension experience at the
moment he joined LCP.
Jeroen advises companies and pension trustees on all aspects of their pension arrangements,
such as funding and (re)designing pension schemes. He specialises in Dutch and international
accounting issues. He also acts as pension fund actuary for a number of Dutch schemes.
Jeroen is a fellow member of the Actuarieel Genootschap (AG), the Dutch Actuarial Society
and a member of Kring van PensioenSpecialisten (KPS), the Dutch Association of Pension Specialists.
Outside the office Jeroen spends his time ice-skating or skeelering, cycling, walking and playing
squash. Unfortunately the regularity of these sporting activities is not actually that high... but he
certainly knows the theory of the sports, so that must count for something!
